"Overall, great place to stay but horrible communication regarding check in and check out. First of all, we loved our stay at this condominium. It was the perfect place away from the crowded areas of Okinawa. Quick drive to beautiful beaches, and the aquarium. The lodging itself was simple but clean, and perfect for people who plan to spend most of their days out and about. You can even walk right past the backyard out to a beautiful beach. The overall review rating, for me, was brought down by the communication. Specifically regarding check-in and check out. I think the process may have been a little bit more clear if I spoke better Japanese, but even then, I think it would have been very difficult. We received no correspondence ahead of time regarding check-in procedures (NOTE- you have to walk to a restaurant near the condo and call a phone number posted there and someone will come meet you to give you the key). Upon checkout, we called the number several times only to get a voicemail recording saying the innkeeper was unavailable. Overall, it seemed very disorganized and was frustrating to feel like we were unable to leave when we needed to."
