Modern and easy to find hotel in Kyoto with friendly, helpful staff. Good transport links and good places to eat nearby. Hotel rooms are a good size decent air con, clean, comfy beds and facilities. Would definitely stay here again when next in Kyoto.

Great rooms and very comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly and location is increeible. Most sites, restaurants and shopping areas are within walking distance. Only downside were the coin laundrey machines, however, there are several laundromats nearby so not an issue. Highly recommend.

We thought that the rooms were very quiet and comfortable and the bed was also comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is perfect close to Omiya and Shijo stations and buses with short 9 or 28 bus ride to Kyoto station. Also walking distance to Nishiki market.

Had a good stay at Travelodge Kyoto. The hotel was clean, well-kept, and in a great location—just a short walk to lots of restaurants and attractions. Staff at front counter was amazing!! The room itself was nice and comfortable. The only downside was the pillows—they were lumpy and hard, which made it tough to get a good night’s sleep. Other than that, everything else was great!

I thought it was a good fit for two people traveling in Kyoto for a couple of days. It was also pretty close by bus to the Kyoto station as well. Clean facilities and nice staff.
