The room and bathroom was dirty. They had ashes on the floor, hair in the bed, tub, on the floor. The manager Shawn Johnson wasn’t professional at all. The hotel had all kind of people on drugs living there. It’s just not a safe environment at all. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my dog!
I have been charged for booking and not reimbursed! They have done this to me in the past so I have learned my lesson and will not be booking with them again! They said they no longer do online booking but they still kept my money and will not give it back. Everyone I talk to says it's not their problem!
I didn’t like anything from the time I booked the reservation and chosen the option to pay upon arrival and they charged my card and then got to the property and Still had to pay for the booking.they then said they no longer used the booking agency Expedia any more so they made me cancel my booking thru Expedia and go thru them to book and then the front desk clerk didn’t put the dates I originally needed and then waited till nine o’clock to come tell us that we hadn’t payed for that night and when I asked if I could just pay for the room for the night she informed me that the price changed from $27 before tax to $59.99 before tax. I decided I was not paying that much for a dump hotel because they make it look good online but it’s nothing like it looks are they described online so the front desk clerk called the front desk and said that the room was good to release our cash deposit back to us when I got down to the lobby the clerk said they couldn’t find my deposit so I had to go back the next day so the next day I called before driving there and they then informed me that I couldn’t get my deposit back because I was in the room over the time I was suppose to check out while the whole time I’m thinking my original dates were the same and that it was paid for. I will never stay at that hotel again. They are so unorganized and need to have the board of health go there.
Made my reservation two days prior to my stay. When I arrived after a long day I was informed the hotel was booked up and they no longer accepted on line reservations. Wound up driving the 3 hours home and three hours back for work
Abysmal from the start, this travesty of a hotel almost feels like it was abandoned. There's trash all over, and pretty much everything is broken. The light switch did nothing, and the light fixtures were ripped apart. The towel rack was dangling from the wall, and there were no towels in the room save for a dirty rag draped over the rack where an iron belonged (also missing). The reserved room (King, non-smoking) turned out to be two doubles with an awful odor. Everything was covered in a layer of grime, there was a dirty cotton swab on the bathroom floor, and the unplugged mini fridge was full of black mold. The television and free wifi were both also non-functional. Finally at checkout, the clerk tried to dismiss me without refunding my $50 cash damage deposit (laughable in itself as the room came trashed from the start). I was then told I'd need to come back an hour after checkout time to wait for housekeeping to verify the room so I could get my deposit back. They relented at my complaint and had it refunded 10 minutes later, but I had to insist that I'd paid cash for that and needed to leave. The entire property also had inconsistent branding, claiming at least three different names with a blank white key card. Even at a steep discount, the best I can say is that I lived through the experience.
Disgusting! Great price but not worth it. Had to switch rooms 3 times - I put a frozen dinner in the microwave and discovered a ton of baby roaches after the timer went off. In the next room it was apparent that the sheets had not been changed, and finally in the last room, the bathtub was filthy. I ended up buying lysol and just cleaning it myself. The staff is very unorganized, people sleeping on the lobby sofas overnight...
I am not the only person that has had similar experiences there - just stand in the lobby for a minute and you'll hear the complaints. In addition, their wifi does not work and according to the staff, it won't be any time soon and absolutely no security on the premises.
Paid for my room in advance, once I arrived hotel gave my room away. Staff made no effort to assist me with getting another room. Place was disgusting once I arrived. Ended up getting another hotel and demanding a refund
I stayed in this property many times when it was owned by Ramada.
Currently this property was under renovation construction and the front desk was not knowledgeable which rooms were being constructed. For the Expedia rate I paid they kept putting me in rooms that were uninhabitable because of construction.
These new owners don't have their act together....
No working wi-fi !! False advertisement, do not stay here. Unbelievable nothing works, run down property, how this place has not been condemned is beyond me. Management is non existent! Trying to get a refund. Read the other negative reviews because they are correct there is no wifi here and the front desk will not fix it which is totally unacceptable.
I thought price and location near I-10 was ok I wasn’t expecting much just a place to spend the night driving through. You get what yo pay for!
Very dangerous and not Secure Very dark Isolated. Criminal and drugs gang activity. Fighting and loud yelling. We left and just gave up our money to get out of there. Stay clear of this place it is not worth it! You can’t rest/relax if you fear for life and property.
Dont even know where to start. The only reason I gave any type of good marks is the 2 front desk ladies that were there that checked me in had the best personalities!! If I could of spent the night on a couch in the lobby and spent maybe 10 bucks that night it would of been great!! I would of enjoyed my stay better. The place used to be a great hotel at one time I assume. It is huge and from the outside dont look half bad but there is nothing at offer except things you dont really want. Prostitutes will knock on your door at night to offer their services but was told if you put something on the doorknob this will stop them from doing so. Was told by a gentleman the next morning when I checked out that the manager at night will actually send a lady to your room if requested so if that is the type of service your looking for then you found the right place..LOL.
