โThe Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast.โ

โEen nieuw hotel met ruime kamers. heerlijk rustig hij het zwembad. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt prima ,wel iedere dag hetzelfde . Eenmaal diner gedaan in het hotel. Zeer lekker gegeten. Naar het centrum van ponta delgado is net te ver om iedere avond te wandelen. Een auto is dan wel een must. Al met al een goede uitvalsbasis om het eiland te bezichtigen . We hebben genoten van het hotel en het eiland โ

Elle est de bons conseils sur les lieux ร dรฉcouvrir ou les restaurants....
J'ai eu la chance d'avoir un petit prรฉsent le jour de mon anniversaire. Alors qu'elle n'avait aucune obligation. J'ai รฉtรฉ trรจs touchรฉe par ce geste.

โOne of nicest hotels that i stayed.
Originally I booked room with out terrace, but without any problem i was given room with terrace looking over pool area.
Food is excellent, breakfast was delightful, great choice of hot and cold food.
Restaurant is serving lunch and dinner and choice is good.
Rooms are good size with nice bathroom.
Overall hotel is in excellent condition,5 minutes from harbour and lot of restaurants in walking distances.
Only little thing is there is not enough parking...
โWe stayed here for 6 days from Aug 03 - 09 2025. We love staying here. The hotel is clean, quiet, with plenty of parking and the staff is AWESOME! They are always friendly and courteous. Nuno, Maria, Petra and Julia always greeted us with a smile and they helped us a lot. If Fatima is reading this have her give all you guys a huge raise !!
One small suggestion - can your hotel upgrade the televisions in the rooms to be Smart TV's? It would be nice to watch movies and shows on the Internet....
