“Everything was nice, clean, quiet and staff was friendly”

“The Ashville Guesthouse is a charming property just on the outskirts of Westport. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared with something for every taste. The full Irish breakfast was excellent. Hilary and Oliver are exceptional hosts and make their guests feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B and will book again if my travels take me back to the area.”

“Spotless, very well-equipped cabin in the most stunning location. The views of the Atlantic and Downpatrick head are stunning. The cabin is extremely well heated and the WiFi connection is perfect. Hob, fridge, microwave, toaster available within the pod to bring your own food and cook as needed. One of my favourite spots I have stayed in Ireland!”

“WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. ”

“The hotel was amazing, the rooms and bathrooms were huge and everything you could want. The staff at check in were not great though. The tv didn’t work properly either. We were all looking forward to using the spa facilities but didn’t bother as we were unaware of the swimming cap policy. We all had a really great stay and would definitely come back.”
