I stayed there because of the price and availability. My activities were in Cadillac and at the S. S. City of Milwaukee Carferry Museum in Manistee. So, other than having breakfast there, I spent no time in Lake City.

We had two rooms, between them I think one key card worked about twice; none of the others ever worked. But the beds were comfortable, the location was convenient, and breakfast was good.

I love this little town. The bar was hopping and fun. A couple excellent small town diners. Lake City was a nice surprise.
