The staff all spoke perfect English, which I certainly don't expect when I travel abroad but it makes the stay much easier. "Great stay and great staff. Rooms were a bit noisy as you can hear sounds from the hallway and other adjacent rooms. Besides that, only complaint is they didn’t have a “Do Not Disturb” sign in the room and housekeeping ended up walking in on me while I was asleep, they do start cleaning quite early. Room looked like pictures and hotel was unique. If you’re a younger traveler, the hotel caters more to an older crowd but the experience was still wonderful. "

"We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy. We booked a double room, but were upgraded to a triple. Staff was very helpful with any questions we had. Buffet breakfast every day had a choice for every taste with homemade delicious cakes to finish. The hotel is located only 5 min walk to the lake and ferry terminal and a beautiful 20 min coastal walk to the down town Stresa which was very convenient."
