"This is an amazing ryokan , the dinner and breakfast was so pretty and tasteful. That I didn’t want to touch it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. "

"Despite the beautiful location of the hotel, the staff and facilities were unfortunately very uninviting. No amenities were given and everything had to be bought at an extra cost. Additionally the hotel bar did not have change so you had to pay with the exact amount if you wanted to get a drink. Finally, the room itself was decent, felt clean but unfortunately the futons were extremely uncomfortable (and I sleep on Japanese futon very often). Don't count out hakone from your trip but I would recommend looking elsewhere if you plan on staying."
