โI really enjoyed staying at this property! The house is close to Brown and very convenient for visiting campus. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance and the neighborhood is nice. The unit is large with comfortable beds and is stocked with basics like coffee, tea and toiletries. This historic home is very clean and charming and affords privacy even in shared spaces. โ
โThe room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the hotel is very well located for exploring Providence.
Top marks especially to the staff for being so helpful.โ
โI checked in to this hotel on July 4th. I had clearly reserved a room with one king bed through Expedia, but was given a room with two queen beds instead. This was the hotel's mistake, not mine. After pointing this out, they moved us to a king roomโthe room we originally paid for. No apology, no explanation.
Unfortunately, the problems didnโt end there. The new room had a clogged sink that wouldnโt drain at all. We called the front desk, and it took 30 minutes for someone to show up. The...
โBeautiful โold worldโ hotel with a quaint European flair. Loved the antique furniture, marble floors and ample guest rooms. Walking distance to Federal Hill, as well as to many nice shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfy. Only downer were the vagrants that camp out on the sidewalk right in front of the hotel. โ
โThe front desk staff was amazing and helpful! The free drinks were easily used in their coffee bar, and I still canโt get over how comfortable the bed was and how amazing the shower products smelled! I would absolutely stay here again if I visit Rhode Island in the future!โ
โI love the property! The area wasn't great, but the inside was really unique and eclectic. The furnishings are simple. For a no-fuss stay, definitely come here. I felt very safe even though the area had graffiti. โ

Unfortunately, the problems didnโt end there. The new room had a clogged sink that wouldnโt drain at all. We called the front desk, and it took 30 minutes for someone to show up. The engineer then spent another 30 minutes tryingโand failingโto fix it. Thatโs a full hour of our travel time wasted because of the hotelโs lack of maintenance.
Despite all this, the front desk still didnโt offer a single word of apology. Instead, they claimed the new room was an โupgrade,โ even though it was on the second floor with a terrible view. Frankly, that felt like a weak excuse rather than any form of customer service.
This experience was unacceptable. I will absolutely not be returning to this hotel, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Poor service, poor communication, and no accountability"
