“The Avila Beach Hotel is a lovely property beautifully updated in classic Caribbean style. The 2 coves offer calm, clear waters excellent for swimming and snorkeling. The restaurants are good, rooms are clean, and staff are friendly and attentive. A mile walk and you’re in the town center of Willemstad with wonderful shops and local restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!”

“The location is excellent about 30km northwest of Willemstad on the water and close to other great beaches. Beautifully landscaped, a nice bar and restaurant looking over the ocean. Rent a car to explore the rest of Curacao. ”

“The resort is going through some construction but we stayed in the completed area and it was very nice. The pool is nice. The cabanas and umbrellas get reserved quickly. Food can be repetitive but it was nice ambiance at the only restaurant. Watch out for the seagulls at breakfast”
