The Castle needs a good renovation overhaul. The room was spacious with big furniture but otherwise nothing great and run down. Staff was friendly but didnโt go out of their way (we were there to celebrate an accomplishment of my child and definitely let them knowโฆ to which they suggested I pay for an upgradeโฆ even a little handwritten โgreat job kid weโre so proud of youโ would have gone a long way.) Noise traveled easily into our room but quiet hours were respected so we got good sleep. Wish it had been more exciting, magical, and less run down. The highlight was the morning where it was too cold to swim but my kid beggedโฆ no one was out so the pool staff put offered to put on whatever music my kid wanted. She happily listened to Ariana Grande for the 20 mins she lasted in the cold weather though!!! We ended up spending very little time there and could have had a spectacular hotel room somewhere else for the cost of this room. Again, wasnโt terrible, but wasnโt worth the $$$$.
