“Quaint little resort within walking distance to a few restaurants and a CVS with packaged donuts, danishes and coffee for breakfast. Gulf of America beachfront access with lounge chairs and a dock. I don’t recommend a boat bigger than 20’, it’s a tight turn to back down the sand ramp and there’s no electricity or water on the dock to rinse your boat or to flush the engine. We were wishing the was a pool, but otherwise, the cottages were very nice with full size appliances and tall ceilings. ”

“Staff is very nice helpful, but they're not on site to get your room keys, that is at a different address. The room was great facing the ocean and the mangroves. There was a hint of cigarette smoke in my bathroom, I'm a non-smoker. Definitely recommend a stay.”

“This is a pretty property that is near the water and several restaurants. Our room was overlooking the boat ramp, which we weren't expecting and someone was cleaning their boat right below us for several hours. For some reason they have speakers all around the property that were planning music until sunset, even though not many people were around and there are rooms right there. If you like music, you'll probably like it, if you want quiet, perhaps not. The staff were nice. The breakfast pretty...

“Beautiful simple place to stay. Beautiful clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Sheets and blankets are soft and comfortable. One floor and you park where your room is located. Handicapped parking spot at beach entrance. Swimming with little fish all around you.”

“Everything about this property was excellent, from the wonderful staff to the kid-friendly atmosphere. We loved the breakfast brunch and the overall vibe of the place. However, dinner at The Drift was a letdown. For the price, the quality just wasn't there. I’d highly recommend the stay, but I suggest looking for other dinner options nearby. We will definitely be back! ”

“If this place was renovated or updated it would be really nice. We had to switch rooms because the air conditioning had a loud whistling sound. The staff were really nice about the change which we appreciated. There were a lot of mosquitos around the property. The nearby water is pretty and we saw a gorgeous sunset. You probably wouldn't want to go swimming though because the water is filled with seaweed. It's more of a sit by the pool and water place, not really a beach go in the water place....
