“Lovely location overlooking Cobo Bay, with sparking sand, crystal blue waters offering fabulous evening sunsets. Our room had a balcony on the front overlooking the bay which was lovely, the balcony is open to the adjacent rooms, we found it surprising that smoking was permitted on the balconies, which was not appreciated, but you find in Guernsey smoking outside in public areas seems to be permitted/the norm?! Staff are excellent, I cannot rate them highly enough… always smiley, happy,...

Although, it's a little way out of town, it has a good size car park, a complimentary mini bus service, that goes into town twice in the morning and returns twice a day and a bus stop virtually opposite the entrance. Was glad I was warned about the lack of air conditioning, so I brought a small fan which I needed despite being able to leave the French windows to my balcony open. The choice of hot food at...

“Just returned from a three night stay at The Duke Hotel and loved it. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly. The hotel is short walk from the town centre and bus terminal which made getting about easy. The room was clean, comfortable and well laid out with plenty of storage. the bed was comfortable, and made up every day by housekeeping. Aircon was welcome in the heat! We used the heated pool at the Hotel which was lovely. Towels and robes are provided to make things easier. ...

“Lovely stay at St George's. Very clean and had everything to hand. Staff were friendly and always asked if we needed our rooms cleaned. The only problem for me small en suite. Would have liked mat in shower cubicle. Would definitely stay again. Outside area very pleasant”

“Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism.”

“Staff really nice and very helpful. Pool clean and not cold. Rooms a bit dated, but then it is a period hotel. Bathrooms nice and modern though. Rooms facing the road a bit noisy so choose one at the back if that bothers you. Mattresses a bit too soft but that's just personal taste. Allowed to use common areas and pool after check out if leaving the island later. Free baggage storage too.”

“The staff were lovely and helpful, but the property is tired and in need of some tlc and maintenance e.g. weeding, painting. A great shame the pool is shut. The decor is dated and the linen and towels were worn in our room. Breakfast was ok. Lovely quiet location and convenient for the airport.”
