We had such a lovely stay at Mahameru. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, accommodating, and helpful. Any question or request we had was handled quickly and with a smile, and they genuinely went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.
The breakfast was a real highlight, with a great spread of fresh, delicious options that made for a perfect start to each day. The whole place feels luxurious, from the beautiful setting to the thoughtful little touches throughout, yet it never felt stuffy. It was relaxing, welcoming, and exactly what we needed.

From the moment I arrived at The Udaya Resorts & Spa and was warmly welcomed by the team on reception, I knew why this resort is rated one of the absolute best in Ubud.
The property provides the ultimate peace and quiet in a tranquil jungle escape, while still offering easy access to central Ubud for all its incredible food and shopping. The resort even provides a regular, complimentary shuttle bus service into the town centre that runs every two hours and only takes about 10 minutes, making traveling back and forth completely effortless day and night.
The entire resort grounds are breathtaking, featuring beautifully maintained tropical gardens and a stunning infinity pool area that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at peace. The dining experience at the restaurant was equally fantastic, with a great choice for breakfast each morning where everything is cooked to order.
What really stood out during my stay, however, was the incredible friendliness of the staff. Their kindness, natural warmth, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression, and it truly felt like nothing was too much trouble for the team.
Ubud is a magical and fascinating place, and one to which I shall definitely be returning. When I do so, The Udaya Resorts & Spa will be the only place I will consider staying. Matur suksma!
