This is a fine little boutique hotel. Yes there are stairs. And it’s super close to Paddington station. So close in fact that you can hear the distant rumble of the trains. My room was modest in size and price but cute and clean. You can get a light breakfast for free and a full breakfast for a mere 7.50. Overall a good choice given what I paid and where I wanted to be. The neighborhood also felt pretty safe.
Booked a hotel near paddington so we could be close by to the train station which worked out perfectly for us. This was cute and allowed us to walk from Paddington- but these rooms are definitely tight quarters for families of 4 (we have 2 kids with us)! It was booked mainly for the location and check in was nice to let us get to our room earlier since we arrived early.
Great location. Quiet area one block from all the action at Paddington Station for convenience transportation. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast.
The location is excellent you are right in the heart of Paddington with the train and the tube so close it’s really convenient.
Staff were friendly
A mini fridge would be useful and ceiling fan for hot days but a very nice place to stay , safe area and tidy
The hotel was lovely, we found it to be quiet and clean and everything we wanted for a budget stay in London. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the location is fantastic with a bus stop right outside and a short walk to the tube and trains. We walked into London which was great seeing different sights.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The location was ideal for quick access to Paddington station, Kensington gardens and Hyde park. Our bottom floor room had a lot of noise coming from the nearby London Underground line from quite early until quite late but for a single night stay this didn't bother us too much. The room was clean but looked like it could use a few visual repairs.
Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to get to. Small but comfortable room. Downside of a single room is a small toilet / shower area. Shower not very well thought through. Head fitted on a high bracket with the water coming straight out onto the opposite wall. I am tall enough to reach up and remove it from the bracket and use it as a hand shower. Shorter guests would have real problems with this.
Friendly staff and spotlessly clean room in a great location for Paddington and beyond and at a reasonable rate.
If you have heavy bags, the many steep and narrow stairs to the top floors might be a challenge for some
