The location was ideal for us and the staff were very helpful when we had a few issues with missing housekeeping items in our room during our 6-night stay. We also greatly appreciated having AC in the room in what was a very hot Summer. While I understand that many smaller hotels in London do have smaller rooms, we did struggle with this - having a large suitcase each. With only 1 x (smallish) luggage rack we had to utilise a chair in the room to put the other case on. This proved challenging as the room has what appears to be a queen/king size bed in it which took up so much of the room that you had to shimmy sideways around the end of the bed (almost up against the wall) to get to the other side of the bed (and the chair). Even though the bathroom - for the main part - was functional, it was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in any hotel I have stayed in....and I stay in a lot of hotels at home as part of my occupation. The shower was challenging at times: working out how to control the temperature/pressure and I would have loved a bath but the plug mechanism would not click down and stay down, meaning that I could not fill it with water! However, at the end of the day, I would still recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again - but request a larger room next time - as the staff were very professional, caring and helpful when approached for any assistance/advice and that I will always remember fondly.

Fantastic welcome on arrival. Staff were exceptional, friendly, welcoming and professional. Hotel reception was clean and lovely decor. Bedroom was large, clean and plenty of room. The only downside was the bathroom was slightly tired around the edges and I thought the shower tray was going to overflow due to the slow drainage of the water. Loved our short stay. Perfect location and will definitely be back.
