I stayed at The Lodge Hotel for 10 nights in Aug 2026 and all I can say is...what an absolutely lovely hotel! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with adequate amenities. The staff were all really, really nice, too! I have already and will continue to, recommend this little gem, to anyone looking for a place to stay, in London. Also, I will definitely be back!!! We loved our stay at the Lodge. Rooms are compact but nice, with comfortable beds, nice linens, staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast. Dinner was delicious. Short walk to the tube. Its 30-60 mins to most of London including the walk to tube. Good value for the price.

This was an exceptional hotel experience! From start to finish there were no flaws. The staff was lovely, the room was a pleasant, clean and comfortable home base and the morning breakfast was amazing! We felt well taken care of and safe in the sweet neighbourhood of Putney. An added bonus was being so close to the tube station. I would definitely come back for future visits.

A lovely friendly welcome from the reception team who showed us to our room and offered to help with luggage. Parking £20 a day really helpful. Great atmosphere and beautiful room with enormous super comfortable bed. Top spec fixtures and fittings, linen and a lovely shower. We were meeting up with family so ate out, so cannot rate the food but there was a lovely bar area. Bus stop just outside to get around easily. Will stay again, couldn’t fault it.

5 star service from the minute we arrived. London hotels can suffer with impersonal and indifferent service. This hotel is completely the opposite. Rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast very good indeed. Lovely airy breakfast room with a terrace outside. No basement room in sweaty heat here! The evening restaurant has wonderful service, well priced wine by the glass as well as bottle. Extensive drinks list. Good food and works perfectly if you get back late from Wimbledon as they serve late. Highly recommend The Lodge.

We always stay at The Lodge when visiting Putney. The staff are always welcoming, the hotel spotlessly clean and we have always been able to park our car in the hotel car park. Highly recommended hotel.

Check in was quick, the room was really clean the window was facing a wall which wasn’t nice and I didn’t like the small space between the two rooms as a lone female even though there was a light! The evening meal was lovely including the staff and the gym was quite clean and well equipped

I had an excellent stay here of two nights. Diana at the front desk was outstanding from beginning to end helping me with my bags before my room was ready and having them in my room for my check-in later that evening before my return. The single room was perfect for solo travel and I felt immediately happy with the room amenities. The bed was especially comfortable and being situated at the back of the hotel meant I had a wonderful night of sleep to kick off my day. The bar staff were also particularly kind to me and my friend who came to visit me at the hotel. The cleaning staff were also incredible - the room spotless. I was only sad to leave this wonderful hotel and plan to be back very soon!

Our second stay at the Lodge and it continues to impress. The staff is welcoming and helpful, the hotel beautifully decorated, clean, and with good amenities. The restaurant, the Hide & Seed, is fantastic and worth the trip even if you aren't staying there and a special shout out to our server/bartender - she is amazing!!!
