We stayed at the Hilton Long Beach right by the port as we were leaving on a carnival cruise the next morning. The staff that checked us in were very professional and friendly. I loved the ducks in the entry way and fountain. We took the free shuttle to the cruise port in the morning it was super convenient and the driver was nice.

It was a very nice property, a little close to ocean boulevard and 710 freeway.When I got there and took an hour to check-in.So we had to wait too long after four o'clock , but they said they had a big party the night before. Staff was great, a lot of open areas were clean (including bathrooms), and food at the bar was delicious. My room was clean when I arrived and they were efficient with cleaning my room while I was out. Location and parking were rough. Between self parking or valet parking, just do valet parking to save yourself the headache. There’s not a lot of self parking spots so I ended up walking towards the shopping/restaurant centers to avoid losing my spot.
