The hotel is conveniently located. We had a very large room on the corner of the building. You felt like you were in an apartment. You can hear all the noise from the street. It’s a very lively area. I would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with friendly and professional staff. The location is absolutely perfect, there are so many shops, restaurants and things to do in the area. The only negative is the lack of an elevator but considering everything else, that’s not a deal breaker.

You get what you pay for at this property. It seems like at one point this property was an apartment converted to a hotel. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were outdated. Bed skirts were stained. Stacy receptionist was nice and helpful.

First off, the woman who manages was awesome, so kind and helpful at our arrival. I know there's not always a manager/staff on site, but lucky for us, she was. Walking into the room it smelled and looked CLEAN. Nice view of the city. Air conditioning worked great, as it was a warm day. Great parking garage a block away (for a fee, but well worth it. A car parked on the street near another hotel had their window bashed open). Lots of places to eat, had that awesome Long Beach downtown vibe all around us. Came to stay the night before our cruise the next day and we are definitely coming back in the future. Thank you Hotel Metropolitan!
