I booked based on multiple 5 star reviews. The property was nice. It looked like the entire interior had been recently renovated. But in my opinion, this is not a 5 star rated property. The interior is modern, clean and nice. I was not particularly happy with the location. It is near the freeway and there is a lot of freeway noise which kept me up at night. It is located in the middle of suburbia, with a huge parking lot. Yet the hotel decides to charge $18 a day for parking??? I kept seeing on the Expedia website..."no hidden fees, no hidden charges. what you see is what you pay." It's probably my fault. If I read the fine print I probably would have noticed the parking fee. Still after all the "no hidden fee" hype, it rubbed me the wrong way. It is a decent place to stay but to me it is not a 5/5 star property.

Kitchen counters were dirty in our rooms when we checked in and had not been wiped down. Bathrooms were not well stocked, and didn’t have extra toilet paper or toiletries you typically find at other residence inns. Location is close to the village however the hotel is right next to the freeway and you can hear traffic and cars all night

4/10 Poor

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
The hotel sits directly long side a major freeway which has continuous traffic 24 hours per day. There is no sound proofing on the freeway side. This is a new building that should have a sound wall or have sound proofing built into that side of the building. They have a bowl of earplugs at the front desk at the front desk which do not offer any relief. Staff and physical environment were fine but shame on Marriott for building without sound proofing.
