Absolutely no smell of smoke or weird smells. Comfortable, clean and felt safe, the bed was super comfortable too. The staff were welcoming and wonderful. I was closer to the road so I did hear a bit of traffic but still slept well. Just a really cool and cute place, great price too

The Santa Clarita Motel was an awesome place to stay while we were touring different college campuses over a long weekend. It was a tad out of town (Newhall) so very quiet. The room was spacious & very comfy. Our daughter stayed next door & I never once heard her talking to her boyfriend... & she's loud! Parking was easy. The coffee served in the lobby each morning was exactly what we needed to get out the door. Thank you, Santa Clarita Motel for a great stay!!

For a motel the room was pretty nice. Area is nice. Soft bed and pillows, and housekeeping did a good job as the room always smelled good. The only knock is that it's next to a busy street so you can hear the cars going by on the regular until later hours. "Lobby" was small but they offered good coffee and available pastries. Overall it was a nice stay.
