“Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. “Ground floor onto decking no privacy people walk past all the time looking directly onto the bed ! So hot and no a/c so the one big heavy door kept open all night so worried anyone could walk in! Just one tiny top window above door. 1 fan in the room doesn't do anything. Badly designed place and in a U shape so everyone opposite looks at each other too like a block of flats.”

“The grounds and the old manor hall are beautiful lots of wildlife and birds. The spa / leisure centre is also very good but is ran by a seperate company to the main hotel which why it might explain it is better ran than the main hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the room (double suite in main hall building ) was good and spacious including a/c. The rooms where very hot and not air conditioned, it was cooler going outside in the 30+ def then it was in the room. By biggest annoyance was the parking l, they have lots of it but it’s an extra £7 a night per vehicle, not per space.
