"This Route Inn location is a bit older than some of their other locations, however it still has some good amenities like a public bath and in-building coin laundry (a must for hot Japan summers!). Room was small but clean, overall a good experience. I thought the included breakfast was every day, however I only received 1 meal coupon for my 2 day stay, which was surprising. Not really expensive, but didn't purchase a 2nd day and just got a bento on the train instead."

"I knew I wanted to snowboard at Lotte Arai Resort but I read that it was in a very small town and basically only the resort buildings so i picked this spot because they offered a free shuttle to the nearby mountains. "First off the reception has a strong stench of cigarette smoke. On check out the hotel demanded extra money than what was listed on the book page. They listed ¥150 per person per night which was fine however they wanted another ¥350 per person for heating cost!?!? Which was never listed during booking.
