"It was a lovely stay at the residence. Very respectful and helpful and lovely staff. Only down side was that the hotel had renovation at the pool and the gym was not very modernised. We were not informed about the pool. We could use facilities in neighbouring hotel. But had to walk long in our swimming costumes. All same old stuff . Yet I can’t fault it. We had peaceful stay there. Will go again. Thanks to all the staff there. 👍"

"Having stayed at this hotel on several occasions, I chose to return because of its calm, zen-like atmosphere and excellent location, which feels like an oasis after a day in the hustle and bustle of the city. The property is generally very clean, and the lobby creates a welcoming first impression. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was a major let-down and well below the standards I have come to expect from this hotel. While the staff were quick to acknowledge the issue and offered complimentary lounge access for one day during our five-night stay, the gesture felt somewhat inadequate as it did not extend to any other facilities. The staff were otherwise helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast was good, although there was room for improvement. Overall, while the hotel retains its peaceful charm and strong location, parts of the property are beginning to feel dated, and the disappointing arrival experience detracted from what could have been a much stronger stay."

"We stayed at The Leela Mumbai from 26-29 May with Royal Club access and had an excellent experience.On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the Club Lounge, where Gerald handled our check in. As this was our first visit to India since 2020, his friendly, professional and attentive approach immediately put us at ease. He also helped us with our request for interconnecting rooms, showing us the available options and allowing us to choose without any pressure. The outstanding hospitality extended throughout the hotel. Every staff member we encountered -from the porters and reception team to the restaurant staff, housekeeping colleagues, room attendants and cleaning staff-was warm, professional and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. Their attention to detail and proactive service made us feel truly valued. The Club Lounge team looked after us exceptionally well. Service was consistently attentive, and the selection of snacks and canapés was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.Our only minor disappointment was that seasonal fruits such as mangoes, lychees and mangosteens were available only as chargeable items. Given that these fruits were in season and are so popular in India, we had hoped they might be offered complimentary in the lounge or available in guest rooms upon request. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the exceptional hospitality shown by Gerald and the entire team. Look forward to returning soon."

"Taj President as the name suggests was the one of the best experiences in Mumbai. The peak of summer outside and cool, comfort yet warm inside 😺 Courteous and professional staff, tasty food and clean interiors. The best part is the people with a friendly and helpful attitude.
