โThe property is older but has been very well maintained. The room was impeccably clean, no smells or odors, everything was nice and not worn or sketchy. The place in incredibly quiet!! We barely heard any indication that there was anyone else staying there. The mattress was firm but comfortable. No complaints about the room. Public beach close by - would be nice to get the swimming pool fixed though... I know, it's costly, but for some of us "Oldies" Lake Tahoe is a bit chilly. But no complaints, many thanks!โ
โI wanted a homey , quiet , low key atmosphere that has the basics . The Lodge was that place . It was clean & accessible to all the places I want to visit ; walkable. The extra was the close encounter with the bear by the pool. The bear saw us before we saw him; it was an unexpected surprise. Horrifying at first then it became the highlight of our stay! Now we have a story to tell! โ
