"Overall this was a great location directly across the street from Cardiff Castle. It was frantic because of the annual half-marathon attended by 29000 people (which we were not aware of at the time of booking) and the lifts were broken, but the front desk staff were extremely helpful. The room was large and everything worked as it should, but the rooms are showing their age a bit. They needed more staff at dinner but food was quite good."

"You can fault the celtic what a grand place feel like a king waking up in the suite we had the marble bathroom was so good Think the rooms could do with a little updating but i love the place "

"The room was clean and exctreemly comfortable. Staff were polight and very helpful. Spar was clean and again friendly staff. Lot of lovley shops nearby. Highly recomended I will stay there again."
