“This is a good place if you plan to be out most of the time. The location is great, close to everything. The breakfast was good and useful in the mornings before the hikes. The kitchen staff was nice and friendly. There is no elevator on the property; be prepared to carry everything and leave nothing in your car. There is an active bear population. “Our stay at Sierra House was great. We were visiting over the July 4th holiday and stayed in their new buildings. The forest view was stunning from the top floor and the rooms were brand new, clean and very tastefully decorated.
