"This is a great base for skiing Mammoth Mountain. The location is close to groceries, restaurants, ski shops. It is just a short drive to our favorite parking area. We did not try the shuttle. The condo is a little long in the tooth, but serves the purpose at a reasonable price. The place could use some maintenance on the heat and plumbing. "

When we arrived it was like walking into an oven. The only option were portable room fans. It was 80 degrees outside and felt like 90+ inside. Opening all the windows and front door into the hall didn’t help. The top floor had no AC running, we thought we could hijack some of the hall air but there was nothing to be had. Unfortunately...

"It’s a modest motel but the beds and linens are fresh, crisp and new so for a one-night stopover, it was great. My complaint is the air quality. There was a deodorizer smell (my husband described it as kitty litter) that made his nose completely stuffy during the night and disrupted his sleep. Me and our two kids were fine, and he is prone to stuffiness. So if you have similar sensitivities, I would be aware. I did expect better for the price as this wasn’t the on the lowest tier."
