"This is a great base for skiing Mammoth Mountain. The location is close to groceries, restaurants, ski shops. It is just a short drive to our favorite parking area. We did not try the shuttle. The condo is a little long in the tooth, but serves the purpose at a reasonable price. The place could use some maintenance on the heat and plumbing. "

"The property itself was clean and well supplied. The view was spectacular and everything we expected. The major problem is that the room has zero air conditioning. When we arrived it was like walking into an oven. The only option were portable room fans. It was 80 degrees outside and felt like 90+ inside. Opening all the windows and front door into the hall didn’t help. The top floor had no AC running, we thought we could hijack some of the hall air but there was nothing to be had. Unfortunately...

"We have stayed here many times and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. This trip our beds were definitely a bit soft and saggy and while the water in the tub came out hot, once switched to shower it was barely tepid. The next morning the front desk told me I needed to pull the faucet again but I didn't feel like it would do that and I have never had to do that here before. If there is a trick to getting things to work they either need a note in the bathroom about it or to tell you at the front desk. The AC worked great however it was mounted so high that we couldn't see the read out so it took a few hours of guessing with the remote to get the temp right. It's always a nice quiet motel that is very conveniently located with reasonable rates for pets as well."

"Getting an upgrade as soon as we arrived helped this review. We were there over the summer and didn't need a fireplace but the rest of spacious room with kitchenette was very much appreciated! The king bed was really comfortable and mountain air and feel of the place was splendid."

"I have been to ALOT of motel 6s for decades and I has losing hope. I had a couple bad experiences that left me feel like motel 6 wasnt high up on n my list of preferences. That was until this location. I have to travel with my cats, since they have health issues it’s easier and safer for them to be with me vs a sitter at home. That narrowed down my options of the area a lot, so I chose this motel 6 for 2 nights so I could attend a friends wedding. After this location quality, amazing staff and wonderful location.. I will be actively looking for motel 6s to stay on future trips. Thank you for allowing pets, thank you for the amazing staff and thank you for being apart of the trip. You all made the difference. I would love a motel 6 like membership or something to have a constant account with the company. If that’s an option in the future, count me in."

"Not real clear signage about the property. Nothing to indicate sierra house on the street. Parking very limited. Room was very small. King bed took up all the space. No room for even a chair. On the positive side, once we figured out where to go was super easy check in with a very polite young lady. Room was freshly painted and very clean with a huge tv. Mammoth itself a little disappointing to me. Not a lot of food choices on the end of town where hotel is and at lunch every place had a huge wait. In evening everything closes at 8. Very limited options. Was an ok stay overall."
