"I'm not a big fan of the room layout, and the bed could be more comfortable. The bathroom's cleanliness is somewhat questionable. However, the hotel’s prime location within walking distance of food and shopping options, and its proximity to CSUMB, are definite advantages. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was enjoyable. Although the bar was closed during our stay, overall, the hotel is very nice. And it is only a few minutes from the beach at Fisherman's Wharf."

"The facility is older and needs a little attention. The carpet by the wall next to the bathroom was wet. We could hear water running through the wall when we had no water running in our bathroom. The hotel looked fairly clean but didn't smell clean."

"Clean and spacious rooms, clean bedding and bathrooms. It would have been nicer not to have cleaning supplies placed outside our unit, and a door mat would be a good addition as well, but on the whole a safe and quiet place to stay while visiting Seaside or the Monterey area."
