“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any...

“I had to stay in Shropshire overnight and managed to get a room here. What a lovely surprise this was. The property is situated in beautiful surroundings and quiet countryside. The host Rebecca is simply wonderful. I received a warm welcome and a speedy check in. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I left feeling fresh and well rested. ”

“A nice little overnighter with friends at the Wheatsheaf. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our evening meal at the Thai restaurant next door which was amazing. We did see some plates coming out before leaving and the food at the hotel looked good too. Our room (superior)was nicely done, lovely fluffy towels and a great size shower. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. My only reason for downgrading the amenities was because there was no lift. We would go back though”
