โI liked the view, the walking trail right outside the hotel, the pool, and the staff. There were some areas where cleanliness seemed like it was not a priority, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. โ
โMy husband, daughter and I were traveling back home and stayed one night because we know courtyard by Marriott from past trips. We are so happy we stayed at this hotel. My husband is disabled and they allowed us to check in early, we got a room on the top floor with a balcony and a beautiful view. We will be staying here again for sure. We loved the gated garage as well. Parking $15 but worth it.โ
โThe Viking is one of the 1950s-era motels that are common on Interstate Avenue, from the days when it was one of the main arterials for visitors to Portland from the north. It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. It is very close to a light rail stop, and also to bike lanes and bicycle-friendly streets.โ
โAbsolutely loved my stay at the Cascade Hotel! The neighborhood location is perfectโwalkable, vibrant, and gives you a true Portland experience. The hotel itself is top-notch, with 5-star amenities and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. One of the absolute highlights was the thermal springsโan unforgettable experience and a must-visit for anyone staying here. Iโll definitely be back!โ
