“We had a comfortable stay at this place. This is a clean and affordable accommodation. Staff weee very helpful and good breakfast. It would have been better if pedestal fans were available to beat the hot weather in the night.”

“Hotel was clean though a bit tired. We paid extra for a pool view. Breakfasts were good, good selection and could request porridge, scrambled eggs etc which we did. Staff very helpful and nice to have a pool. One of our party was vegan and was accommodated with food.”

“We had a wonderful week. The staff were, without exception, always cheerful very helpful and obliging. The spa area was fantastic, I had a lovely massage! The location of the hotel is second to none - the bus station just around the corner. Unfortunately the price of drinks and food in the hotel was prohibitive even dearer than other restaurants in St Helier.”

“A marvellous chateau style hotel. Loved walking into the place with its great staircase. A bit of a distance from the the coast although a shuttle bus is provided. Good food and helpful staff….could change the menu a bit more often. Bedrooms were clean, spacious and well maintained.”

“Rooms clean however, no air-conditioning room was extremely hot and stuffy. Bathroom outdated, avocado bathroom suite no shower cubical, needs upgrading shower over bath not good and no water pressure made having a shower difficult. Breakfast excellent evening meals can't be faulted either.”

“Positives: The apartments are in a very convenient location above the bus station in central St. Helier. This makes it easy to travel around the island. The kitchen had all amenities needed for our stay and it is located close to shops to buy food. Staff were also friendly. Negatives Although the apartment was overall clean, the cot (for which we had to pay for) had stains all over it. We also stayed in a town-facing apartment. These have no soundproofing meaning you can hear everything...

“Lovely hotel, bit pricey but was rated 5* although needed few tweaks. Bathroom floor tiles cracked. Tiny toiletries had to ask for more shower gel. Apart from that room lovely, large, great bed, great aircon especially as we were there in crazy hot weather. Not a brilliant view though. Helpful staff. Breakfast great. Tricky to find hotel entrance.”

“Had an excellent stay at the Dolphin Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were just super. Nothing was too much trouble and they could not have been more helpful. My room was very comfortable especially the bed. Will definitely return.”

“Sehr gut direkt am Strand gelegenes hübsches Hotel mit Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist selbst ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sehr sauber und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. “A lot of scaffolding all around the building , blocking out all sea views from the lounge and dining areas. Very noisy in the morning. We only booked this hotel because of its position and views and although we were told that their price did reflect this , we would not have booked if we had known”
