"Lumara Lodge is in a beautiful setting. The garden is enchanting, and the host is super nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay, and their breakfast is simple and delicious. The room is a bit dated and could use a few touch-ups. Everything else is great. "

"What a slice of paradise! Rooms, staff, hotel facilities were fantastic and run by a Costa Rican familyas described and pictured. Excellent if you’d like an out-of-the-way place from the crowds, this area is absolutely perfect."

Staff was superbly attentive and each time we came to eat remembered our names. Very personal service and complimentary beers in the room every day. Would definetly go again!"
