"Great stay for a family despite the venue seeming to be geared more towards couples and business travel. Kids menu items served in the wonderful restaurant. Vast breakfast selection and extremely helpful and courteous staff. Clean room. Value for money one of the best stays I have had in a long time. Bonus points for the peacocks roaming the grounds!"

"Free parking always a bonus. Arrived about 7.30pm and the lady behind the bar checked me in and showed me to my room. You can tell they do the detail from the first point of introduction and that carried on throughout the stay. Room was great, clean with a big comfortable bed and a tv you don’t have to squint at to see! Loads of room and coffee and tea making facilities which allow you to have more than two cups without asking reception for more! (Take note Premier Inn!) Big clean bathroom with bath or shower option so very happy. I had some work to do for meetings the next day and one of the dealbreakers for me isn’t what’s around the hotel for walks etc it’s the WiFi and this was great, ran at about 35-45 whilst I was working which was plenty. This also worked in the bar when I was eating so could watch the footie on my phone. The food was great, as was the breakfast where you can have what you want. One minor hiccup which wasn’t the fault of the business but was dealt with quickly, I enjoyed my stay here. I have an office 10 miles away so will be back. Special shout out to the lady working the bar that checked me in and served me though, she was busy yet gave everyone of us top service. See you soon"

"On arrival I was promptly attended to by a very friendly member of staff and was signed in within minutes. The room was clearly signposted and easily found. The room was a good size, clean and fresh smelling. The facilities were all as expected, namely tea, coffee, TV, iron, hairdryer etc. The bathroom was suitably adequate, again clean and fresh. In the evening I didn't use the restaurant but did have a few drinks in the bar which had a mixture of guests and locals and had a good atmosphere and friendly staff. After a good night's sleep I had an adequate fried breakfast although there seemed to be a good choice of alternatives i.e. cereals, toast and spreads and various drinks. I would sum up by saying that it was only a one night stay but cannot fault any aspect of the visit. It does exactly what it says on the tin."
