"Had to leave after the first night. Had issues with hot water, phone, lights, noise. AC was noisy too. "

"WiFi dreadful, used data mostly. Housekeeping extremely poor. 4 days in between servicing, no hoovering. Long wait for evening meals. Breakfast lacking in anything healthy. Pool area superb. Old tv without SMART facilities. All in all this hotel is looking shabby and needs an upgrade which I’m told is in the planning stage."

"I don’t know how this hotel is rated 4.2 on Expedia, unless we just got unlucky with our room. Our room smelled of urine/stale cigarettes in my opinion, wet dog or hockey equipment in my husband’s opinion. It was run down with springs popping out of the underside of the mattress on the sofa bed, the surface appeared to be mouldy and had stains down the arms of the sofa. The caulking around the bath was in poor condition, smeared and brown up the edge of the bath and lost the seal and a disgusting yellow brown stained colour around the toilet. "

"I hate to write a bad review, but the way this property was displayed online is nothing like how it actually is. It’s true- they have renovated 2 floors of rooms, which I asked to stay in. However, the cleanliness and condition of the room overall was bad. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy from a historic property, but there was literally a used hand towel on the sink as soon as we checked in. Not to mention an already consumed liquor bottle sitting on the shelf, in the room. Not to mention, the newly renovated shower was covered in mildew and no surface of the room appeared to be touched with a cleaner. The hotel is in such a cool spot and surrounded by nightlife and activities but I would rather stay somewhere mediocre that was double the price and farther away, than stay at the Harrison again. Elijah at the front desk was super nice and apologetic and helped us get the rest of our stay refunded. Probably the best part of our visit. "

"Room had plastered gouges that were not painted, anything metal was rusted, infested with roaches, sheets has holes door manual lock did not work. The restaurant closed 2 years ago photos were at least 1-2 decades old, parking lot was overgrown and had pot holes. "
