“The guesthouse had been lovingly restored to provide two guest rooms and a small living area. Delphine the host was delightful she was very helpful and informative. The breakfast was delicious. Would certainly recommend to other travellers. ”

“We arrived rather late (after 9.00pm), was a bit tricky to find in the dark, but we managed it! Greeted by Hilde - lovely lady. Took us to our rooms, which were lovely & comfortable & clean. Allowed full use of the lounge & kitchen. There were 3 of us (adults). Very spacious. Shower lovely. Breakfast choice amazing. We stayed here having visited Bruges. Would definitely return & recommend. ”

“Do not park the car at the parking place. Thief opened the door of the car and took my valuables on 21th Feb at 2:19 am. The staff said that we can not help anything. We checked CCTV only, but could not recognize their car plate number(black car). And we can not call the police. And said you go to police office but it will be time waste.”

“The staff and volunteer wardens work so hard to meticulously maintain this beautiful guest house that once served British soldiers during WWI. They also provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a great breakfast featuring locally made pastries each morning. I hope to return to Talbot House soon.
