"Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit, which I truly appreciated. The room itself was decent and comfortable, but it could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly—especially the floors, which needed better vacuuming. I booked a room with a balcony, which I was looking forward to, but unfortunately there were multiple wasp nests present. This made it uncomfortable and unsafe to use the space. I would strongly recommend regular inspections and removal of any nests to ensure guest safety. Additionally, the common areas—particularly the hallways and lobby—could benefit from more frequent cleaning. With the amount of foot traffic, there was noticeable dirt buildup near the elevators. Keeping these areas clean and regularly sanitizing high-touch surfaces like elevator buttons would really improve the overall experience. Aside from those concerns, my stay was enjoyable. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this could easily be a great place to stay."

"We stay here frequently. The location is great for all of our needs in the area. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but could use a good deep clean to clean up or make repairs of grout and around fixtures and drains. We are light eaters, so the breakfast area is good and the offerings are just what we need (fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels). The containers with oatmeal toppings looked like they may not always be thrown out and refreshed each day (the sugar container especially). The staff always greets us when we come and go and always offers to help us with anything we need. I'd love to see a filtered water station to refill water bottles like they have at others we have visited. The price is great, the people are nice, and we will continue to stay here."

"Definitely will stay here again. It was definitely more affordable then other places in the area, more than what we expected for breakfast, and lots of food and retail in walking distance. "

"I booked a room here for a “staycation” just so I could retreat to do some writing and other work. It fit the bill, being close enough to home, but in an area that I don’t normally go to for entertainment and recreation. The room was very clean, updated, and in good condition, save for a little wear and tear on a shelf. The hotel is located in CityLine, the mixed-use residential and retail community built about a dozen years ago. The hotel opens up in the community’s main plaza, where entertainers play concerts in front of a fountain and sculptures. That is an outstanding feature. The hotel’s main issues are that its self-parking lot isn’t remotely secure. The gate is broken, and so far as I can tell, not monitored. Public street parking is about equally secure. It’s a safe, low-crime area, though, so that’s not too great a worry. My recommendation would be to train the staff not to enter guests’ rooms until they know it’s OK. A maintenance person walked in without knocking while I was working. I’m glad I had clothes on! He apologized profusely, but that shouldn’t happen. And housekeeping did the same as I was getting ready to check out. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The fitness room is decent and up to date. The pool is barely more than a wading pool. No laps are possible. Those are the only issues. The hotel, like all Alofts, has a nicely designed lobby and decor. I would stay again for a staycation and recommend to out-of-towners."

"Although other reviews mentioned this being an “older hotel”, the interior of the hotel did not reflect that at all! The rooms, lobby, and hallways were very nicely renovated! And the entire hotel was immaculate! We will definitely stay here again when in the Dallas area! "
