The communication with the property managers was poor. I did not receive the door code until after 10PM when I arrived and had to ask. The building reception tried to call an no one answered the phone.

The property was under full exterior construction, which was not disclosed beforehand. The images shown in the listing do not reflect reality at all. Windows were covered with plastic bags, and the interior was poorly maintained with heavily stained carpets. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. Requiring ID and credit card online before traveling, I wasn't given the exact building or unit number until I arrived at the location. I had to spend quite a few minutes on the phone before finally receiving the information about the building entrance and the unit number.

Not Sure that we would return

Overall, we are not sure that we would return or trust our hard-earned money with this rental agency. The check-in experience was very disheartening; the unit was not ready due to maintenance work that resulted in the shower/tub not being usable until the next day. The assigned EroRentals Welcome Ambassador promised us that we would receive a one-night refund if we decided to check in, but the refund never materialized. We paid for a 6-night stay and the 1-night refund never posted to our credit card by EroRentals or Hotel.com. When my husband and I went to the unit, a handwritten note was posted to the outside door of the unit – “Do not use the shower until tomorrow. Wet cement”. Once inside, it was even more discouraging to see the complete mess left in the bathroom; the entire main bathroom was not usable, unclean, and debris was everywhere (pictures attached). We went out for dinner and upon returning, we were surprised to find the unit door wide open and people inside cleaning the bathroom; a man kept apologizing to my husband. The next morning, we were given the "okay" to start using the shower only to discover the shower hose broken and streaming water down the tiles. The bedroom carpet was badly stained. We never met the Welcome Ambassador in-person nor received a tour of the property as indicated in the check-in instructions provided; our communications was by text and cell phone. By trial-and-error, we got acclimated to the property amenities and access fob.

there were hidden fees like crazy. they tell you every additional fee you need to pay after the fact the first purchase of the room was made. no communication between resorts and owners of room. some rooms don’t come with free parking, we had to do valet parking every night but the parking lot for valet was 100 feet from the front. i could have parked it myself for less money, also needed a deposit to be able to play billiards $100. never going back again !!!!!

carefree and relaxing

the check-in process was very simple and the landlord was quick with answers to questions or solving minor problems. I spent three nights here with my two children and we had a great time. the only drawback was the beach is across a major street and there is no close touristy places to walk to and enjoy. we had a rental car and drove to many places. there is a really nice mall near by Aventura mall. Overall I would book this trip again and recommend it to friends.
