“Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’m not a picky traveler, but this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered, the room had a strong, unbearable odor and clearly had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom had visible dirt and hair, the floors were filthy, and even my child’s feet turned black after walking on them. The toilet barely worked, the sheets and pillows smelled bad, and the room felt damp and unclean. We were also offered another room, but it was in similar...

“This was a nice hotel with clean rooms but we had a couple of issues with maintenance that were not resolved as quickly as they could have been. The property is not within walking distance of anything as there are no sidewalks so had to drive everywhere.”

“The Brinckerhoff Inn is a beautiful historic property that has been beautifully restored. The personal attention given to us by Bob was second to none. He takes great pride in his inn and loves to share the interesting history of this region. He prepared a wonderful breakfast and welcomes you into the house as if it’s your own. If you are in the area, you must make sure to stay at this house!”

“The pool was closed, along with the restaurant, which we were not aware of. When we walked the trails to sit at a scenic location, branches and shrubs blocked our view. When we showered, there was half empty bottles of body wash, shampoo and other showering necessities. This was $600 a night. Totally not worth it at this time.”
