“you can truly feel the nature there! you can see wild animals, it was very unique and precious experience! info center of cradle mountain is very close, you can buy a vehicle pass there and go to dove lake :) must see place! dove lake! the accomodation is fully furnished and nicely decorated! great for family trip! ”
“Basic things that were neglected or done poorly
1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said
2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows can’t be open. Rooms are hot, stuffy and poorly ventilated- would have been helpful to have that piece on information on...
“What a great stay. Was a bit freaked out by the wildlife at the door when going to look out at the stars. The snow was magical. definitely not 5 star, rustic cabin but this is why it’s so fantastic. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. ”
“For an overnight stay it was a lovely spot..unfortunately a drive into Campbell Town was needed for dinner as the pub's only open a couple if nights a week”

“We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious.”

"Great rooms except bearing gone in bathroom exhaust fan, likely due to mould/fluff build up. Rm313. Also tvs are 20 years old. No Netflix etc and no pay tv limited free to air. Fix the fans and TVs and it will be 10/10"
