“We walked in to a lovely warm cabin thanks to the wood burning fire which kept us warm while it was snowing outside! Cabin had everything we needed and the spa bath was welcome after a day walking. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend”
“The area was beautiful and quiet and full of nature. The accomodation (& beds) was modern, warm, comfortable & had everything we needed. Communication was friendly & useful for how to get there & local dining options (which was also brilliant, friendly and delicious.) They had kindly started the fireplace before we arrived. I’d stay here again happily. ”

“it was all very comfortable and warm ion a cold winters night. the door lock was a bit stiff and strange but worked ok and the bed in the front room squeaked!! minor. It was a lovely place to stay ”

“We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. If you are after elegant, refined and well finished accommodation...

"Great rooms except bearing gone in bathroom exhaust fan, likely due to mould/fluff build up. Rm313. Also tvs are 20 years old. No Netflix etc and no pay tv limited free to air. Fix the fans and TVs and it will be 10/10"
