"We really enjoyed our stay! We were travelling as an older family and 4 rooms. Great location, very peaceful, the beach and water were excellent. It was very quiet. We were there from Oct 11 to 17, and it was clearly shoulder to out of season. We were the only guests in the hotel and in the hotels around us.
Keep in mind that this is a small country village in Turkey. You can find everything you need, grocery shops in town, all local products and some imports. Everything works functionally....

"Really poorly run, no WiFi, lacking in facilities, staff were gruff and absent and just a generally very weak property. I'd avoid.
Very poor value for money given it is Turkey. "

"Externally helpful staff and the most stunning accommodation. Ibrahim was on call at all times to drive us around and help with everything needed. Could not recommend this place enough. "

"Paid for a high end room with sea view. Room was very tired and in need of update. Aircon was set on 16C and high fan and it was barely comfortable. Worst of all, in competition with every bar further along the “strip”, they had to have loud DJ music around the pool every night going to midnight. Afterwards, several people who had obviously been drinking the whole night come back to their rooms talking and making noise for another hour or two.
A couple of positive aspects were two nice...

"Fulya had the best customer service, she helped us with our itinerary, where to go and what to do, she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be back. "
"The location is impressive. The view is incredible but it doesn't stop here.... The rooms are decorated in a very eclectic but harmonic design. They are spacious and well equipped with usable balconies and comfortable bedding."
"Returning to Paradise: Our Unforgettable Stay at D Maris Bay
There are places you visit once—and then there are places that call you back. For us, D Maris Bay is the latter. After a blissful stay in May, we knew we had discovered something extraordinary. So, we returned for another 10 nights, and once again, it was pure magic.
Nestled in a breathtaking corner of the world, D Maris Bay is more than just a luxury resort. It’s a sanctuary where nature’s beauty meets impeccable hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in serenity—crystal-clear waters, lush landscapes, and sunsets that seem to pause time.
But what truly sets this place apart is its people.
Every meal, every moment on the beach, every interaction with the staff felt personal and heartfelt. While we wish we could name everyone who made our stay so special, a few deserve a special mention:
• Rojda – A shining example of grace and kindness, always ready with a warm smile and thoughtful conversation.
• Muhammed – The soul of the lobby bar, whose charm and service made every evening memorable.
• Busra – Our popcorn girl (she will understand) and for doing absolutely everything possible to make our trip perfect. Always with a smile
• Yusuf – The friendly face at DD Scoop, serving up daily joy with every scoop of ice cream.
To the entire team—thank you. You’ve created a place that feels like home, only better. We left with full hearts and a promise to return again.
If you’re searching for a destination"
"No sea view as on high street, staff were brilliant as always, one thing which hotel cannot control cafe in corner has music going till 1am so not great if you want peace and quiet. We always stay here when visiting guilluk. Mehmet and Nurdan very hospitable. Breakfast is turkish breakfast not english uf you want that is extra."
"We stayed one night at Le Méridien Bodrum Beach Resort, chosen for its amenities and closeness to the airport (just 20 minutes away), and left wishing we had stayed longer. The service was exceptional. Ali Bezir, the Front Office Manager, communicated with us before arrival, preparing everything to our needs. Nacira from Guest Relations was friendly and helpful, while Doğukan and Kubilay made check-in and check-out seamless. Restaurant staff, buggy drivers who ferried us around the hills, and even the playful kittens added warmth to our stay.
The Stella Restaurant stood out with an excellent breakfast offering plenty of variety, and dinner was equally enjoyable. Ali kindly arranged for our room to be decorated and surprised our friend with a birthday cake — a beautiful touch that made the evening memorable.
Our room was small but offered breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea, visible straight from the bed and even the shower. A modern TV with Google Cast was a great addition, and we enjoyed the beach, the scenic walks, the accessible gym, and a relaxing spa treatment.
The only drawback was being told that use of the spa facilities required an extra €38 for 30 minutes, which felt disappointing for a 5-star resort, as I expected basic access to be included.
Overall, the staff are the true stars here, making our short visit unforgettable. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for luxury close to the airport."
"This hotel was beyond filthy. The second I walked into the room, the stench hit me. The bathroom was revolting – mold all over the tiles, a disgusting shower, and a toilet that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was so nasty I didn’t even want to touch anything.
For the money I spent, I expected at least a clean room, but instead I got this dump. I felt dirtier after staying here than before I checked in. They “changed” our room the next day, but guess what? It was just as filthy. Nothing improved.
On top of that, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Zero customer service, zero care for guests.
This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Stay far, far away from this place. Total waste of money and a disgusting nightmare.
1* hotel!!!!"
