Better value elsewhere
Closed when we arrived. Fantastic meal but spoilt by the bottle of Tesco labelled wine on table. Room overlooked field and barbed wire not a garden as stated. Tea/ Coffee in room nice but Biscuits were out of date!. No hairdryer and only 1 bath towel for 2 people.
Breakfast not worth the money. Small choice no toast or fruit on offer. Landlord and staff very nice. But not worth the money will not be staying again.

Room very small for a twin. TV is really small and no remote so couldn’t use it anyway. Food was a good standard but basic and rather pricey.
The staff where very friendly, great Bar and food, but the room was poor (no.3), needs taking out of service and completely refurbished. The Bathroom was covered in mould, and the shower head needs to be urgently replaced, plus the sink was cracked in two places. The bed definitely needs a thicker mattress and the TV was ancient. It's a shame because it is in a great little village, and the Landlord is excellent.
Great greeting and lovely quiet place, with lots of locals, great food and ambiance
Comfortable beds and adequate bathroom.
Superb off the beaten track spot for a good night.
Sadly we had to leave before breakfast
Nice rural location close to pub and has friendly staff. Ample parking. Accommodation on basic side but as described and offers value for money

Large room with nice views and a good shower , heating wasn't working but staff did everything to get things sorted and a couple of hours later was all fixed. Food in the pub was excellent.
