We had a frustrating experience with Wendy, the general manager at the hotel. We booked a room through Expedia and paid for it in full before our arrival. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed by 7 hours due to bad weather, so we didnโt get to the hotel until just after midnight. When we arrived, we found out that the room we had booked was given away to someone else because they thought we werenโt coming.
The friendly woman at the front desk called Wendy to explain what happened. Instead of helping us, Wendy said she wouldnโt let us stay in the room we had paid for and wanted to charge us an extra $100 for another room. We spent another hour and a half trying to get either the hotel or Expedia to help us get our money back. Eventually, Expedia assisted us, and we managed to get a room, but it certainly wasnโt thanks to Wendyโs help.
