Mishima, Shizuoka Prefecture hotel rooms at the Hilton Hotels

Overall excellent stay. Yet, they couldn’t accommodate for late check-out. It was hard to look for taxi to drive back to Gora station, instead we had to walked down with our luggages. They should at least provided transportation.

Staffs spoke fluent English and are super communicative. Overall great experience, scenery of the onsen is amazing. Just want to highlight though, when we used the shuttle bus to arrive at the Gora Station, bus driver didn’t really help to carry the luggages down which is fine, just feels a bit weird to see the contrast before and after leaving the hotel. Overall, hospitality 9.5/10.

Hakone Suisen provided the best service I expected. The staff were really kind and friendly, the facility was clean and nice, onsen(both inside and outside) were great, and they even provided simple breakfast! Onsen is not big as normally depicted in Japanese media(movie/drama) but the water source is outstanding. Unfortunately, it is difficult to access other restaurants/cafe from the location by public transport, so I HIGHLY recommend you to enjoy your dinner at somewhere else before...

Easily one of the best hotels I've every stayed at. The staff is courteous, helpful, and very professional. Despite its age, the hotel does not feel old or worn out - I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained, clean, and neat everything was. Amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant. The Wagyu beef was melt in your mouth fantastic. Great wine. The private onsen was perfect and so relaxing at the end of the night. Super comfortable bed and spacious room. Wish I had booked two nights. My only complaint is the coffee in the room is more espresso style and I love a big hearty cup of coffee in the morning. The hotel doesn’t offer coffee in the lobby which is a bummer. We didn’t add breakfast just because we don’t usually do breakfast....

This hotel is very new, clean and stylish. The car park is very spacious. Though it is just next to the station, as it is at Numazu north exit, there are not many restaurants or shopping area. You need to walk 1.2km to cross the rail in order to reach the south exit side.

Very approachable for a more cultural, traditional experience. Was very easy for an American foreigner like myself to have a truly authentic experience. Staff is incredibly hospitable, helpful, patient, and capable. My first ryokan experience that I have Yusakaso to thank. Quality onsens, extraordinarily clean.

Looking over Lake Ashi this property was clean and well maintained. The private onsen was beautiful and relaxing. The room was clean and spacious.

Beautiful property - absolutely breathtaking from the moment you arrive. The staff were super nice and helpful. David who works at the tea bar is also lovely. Amenities are great here and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We never wanted to leave. We got the forest room and it was so nice to wake up to. The public bath was also super clean and nice. Our skin felt great afterwards. Would highly recommend the dinner and breakfast there also. It was a big meal but so delicious.

I have stayed in many luxury 5 star hotels, but this place get 10 stars, comfort and service beyond anything you can imagine. Big thank you to the owners for fantastic hospitality!
