A very easy stroll into York City. Everything you could want in a stay. Breakfast was very generous. And laundry dervice provided on request.โ

โThe room was very nice. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. โ
โReally lively hotel, modern clean rooms, staff were really helpful and attentive and the location is great with a 5 minute walk to the Shambles with loads of restaurants and cafes on the wayโ
โCannot rate the staff, this is a self service hotel, but itโs really easy, youโll get a couple of codes the day of your stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist thatโs exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. Without spoiling your experience I will tell you that my hard-to-please teenager was flabbergasted with the experience, he said itโs in his top 5 hotels in the world. โ
โLovely British style hotel. A little far from York station to walk if with big luggage but close to city center. Host was very kind and helpful, kitchen was really nice to cook some simple foods โ
