The views from the upper level of Building 400 are the best! So tranquil with a clear view of the ocean! The room we stayed in this year was a little dated furniture and appliance wise. Bathroom was updated! The property is very well maintained and the heated pool is great! Would highly recommend staying at The Beachcomber!!

Excellent location for a stay close to town but away from the crowding and across the street from the ocean with views of the sunrise from our room. The room was spacious and clean, and the full kitchen was a great resource for traveling with children. The per-person charge for the room felt like gouging in an area that is already a thousand dollars per night per room, with the meting out of individual bracelets to access the pool, the only resort amenity, which smacked of nickel-and-dime business strategy. I understand wanting to prevent 4 college kids from splitting a room and abusing the resort, but there is no distinction for families traveling with little ones.

The room was way too personalized. The problem was the room, not the resort. Additionally having people with toddlers above was not very respectful in the morning. Letting the little one race across the room was inconsiderate. I would return but request second floor accommodations.

I cannot say a bad thing. The room was immaculate. The pool was immaculate, it was fairly easy to get onto the beach. The town is a little bit of a walk just under a mile. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would consider going back in the future

Don’t ever make a reservation here and not make it there for any reason!!! They will not cancel your reservation out of courtesy! Zero customer skills. Expedia also called them in my place and asked to please cancel and refund my money! Management said No! Be very careful booking this hotel even through a third party company! Expedia couldn’t help!

The rooms are always pristine and comfortable, and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked and clean. The balcony is large, and inviting, especially in the morning having coffee and looking at the ocean. It’s easily accessible to the beach 🏖️ literally across from the hotel. The pool is very large and the tennis courts are maintained as well as the lawn. I’ve been coming over 20yrs and although my folks have a place in Ditch Plains “ Beachcomber is very family friendly, you’ll really enjoy it.
