"We had an excellent off-season stay here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The whole property is friendly to dogs on leashes(except possibly inside The Red Slate Restaurant). We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time exploring nearby Manchester, Londonderry, and Dorset. "Amazing! Cannot get a better location! So close to everything! Quick walk to village shops and slopes. Very clean. Lots more room than I was expecting for two big 17 year old boys and parents. Kids had their own bedroom, bathroom and storage area on main floor, adult had master suite with own bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen and family room. The only complaint is that hotels hot tubs and pool were over run with too many little kids. "

"There was only one person able to check in people when we arrived before the big eclipse; it took over an hour to check in. We were told a worker was sick, but it was disappointing that there was not another staff member able to independently check in people. The hotel did make it up to us when we asked, but it was an unwelcome experience."
