"Great place to stay while visiting as its a 5 min walk to their shopping street and train station, and the ryokan was very spacious compared to others I stayed in. The in room meals were excellent as was the staff service. And the onsens comfortably spacious as well. The view from the balcony was so relaxing and refreshing that I spent as much time there as possible. I would definitely stay there again."

"Highly recommend staying here if it’s within your budget! If you have the Hakone Freepass, then head to Gora and the hotel has a very convenient shuttle bus stop there that runs every 20 min. Upon arriving staff greeted us, took our luggage, and coordinated check in. After check in, staff immediately escorted us to the room with our stuff while telling us highlights of the property, such as where the onsens were and where breakfast was. The room itself was great. It’s nice and clean. They have yukatas in the room but you need to request for kids size. Obviously the best part is having your own personal tub on the balcony with hot spring water and cold water to adjust to your personal comfort. Shower pressure was good and they provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and 2 kinds of lotions. The beds were very comfy with plush pillows and a fluffy comforter. We personally prefer to sleep in a cold room and had control over the thermostat. Food wise we did the package with both dinner and breakfast buffet. Dinner buffet came with all you can drink with select beer, sake, sochu up"

"I had higher expectations but overall not bad. Beware this is a family resort so expect running screaming kids especially at dinner and breakfast."

"Está en la mejor área de Hakone, justo en frente de la estación de Yumoto Hakone a uno o dos minutos caminando. También la oficina de turismo está en frente entre la estación y el hotel y ahí puedes comprar el Hakone Free pass y hacer en loop recorriendo los 5 lugares y usando el transporte sin pagar nada solo enseñando la tarjeta Free pass por el precio de 6000 yenes. También quiero comentar que para entregar al hotel tienes que cruzar un puente y DISFRUTAR del hermoso riachuelo y el sonido que hace el agua corriendo por debajo del puente, Aprovecho también para decirte que a escasos 5 minutos caminando está el restaurante 808 Monsmare el cual recomiendo al 100 % Les garantizo que si se hospedan en este lugar lo van a pasar espectacular."

"If you are going to Hakone, you should stay, and stay at the Fujiya Hotel for at least two nights. This place is magical, and the staff are unbelievably attentive and kind. The onsen is the definition of relaxing and has amazing views. The massage and facial were amazing. The western breakfast was so good, and the dinner at the restaurants in the hotel is worth the price for the experience. Don’t miss your opportunity to stay here if you pass through Hakone!"

"We had an amazing stay and our only regret was that we only stayed one night. Our room was large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom new and efficient. "I highly recommend this Ryokan for a traditional Japanese experience. The room was spacious, comfortable and I loved the tatami mat! The kaiseki and traditional breakfast meal were exceptional, with beautifully plated dishes. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The onsen was a wonderful place to unwind, with three options available - be sure to book in advance to secure a private timeslot. The nearby antique museum is also worth exploring if you have some free time. Overall, I had a fantastic and relaxing stay at this Ryokan, which provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city."
