"Amazing stay, the hotel room itself was beautiful and so clean, comfortable and spacious. The onsens were also super nice, we booked a room with a private onsen and it was very serene, clean and water was very hot (in a good way!), but they also had multiple other options including a public one for each gender for hotel patrons only which was not crowded at all, a private one that didn’t require booking (in case of tattoos or privacy), and another private one that you could book a time slot at front desk. What really blew us away was the dinner and breakfast sets and the service. It was amazing meals and service was impeccable. I wish I could stay longer just to experience the meals again! Overall very peaceful, relaxing, and great stay that is great for those who want a spa experience and delicious meals on top. Beds were also comfortable, traditional futon mats with clean linens and blankets set up already. "
"Great place! Super friendly, kind staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location high on the mountain. In room onsen was nice for a quick private soak. The forest and rooftop public onsen were lovely and uncrowded. Breakfast buffet was delicious."
"The hotel was incredibly comfortable, clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. After the hustle of Tokyo and Osaka, it was the perfect place to unwind. The room layout was thoughtful, spacious, and designed for real relaxation.
The food was amazing: healthy, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The servers made a genuine effort to speak English, which was very much appreciated, and every staff member we met was warm and welcoming. The airport shuttle was a huge help, especially since the walk up to the hotel is uphill. There’s also a bus stop within about 10 minutes, though the incline varies depending on where you’re headed.
Overall, I have nothing but praise. I’d happily stay here again."
"The room is perfect and the staff are very detailed in service. Definately a five star stay. Food is included and is delicious. The onsen is inviting and peaceful. Beautiful facility. "
